Jennifer is a warm-hearted breast cancer survivor, women's advocate, and a true light for those navigating the challenges of cancer. In 2021, she was diagnosed with Stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma—estrogen positive, HER2 positive. Her journey included a bilateral mastectomy, four reconstruction surgeries, 12 weeks of chemotherapy, and a year of Herceptin treatments. Through every step, Jennifer found strength, purpose, and a new calling to support others.
Determined to turn her experience into something meaningful, Jennifer became certified through the Cancer Exercise Training Institute (CETI) and has since dedicated herself to helping women feel strong and empowered through movement during and after treatment. Her mission is clear: to combine the healing power of exercise with heartfelt support for those facing a cancer diagnosis.
With passion and perseverance, Jennifer has raised thousands of dollars for local organizations close to her heart—Positively Pink Inc. of Stony Brook, NY, and the Fortunato Breast Health Center at Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY.
Now, Jennifer is embarking on a new path of service through her church by launching a faith-based cancer support ministry. Her group, Faith Over Fear, welcomes all—those newly diagnosed, in treatment, post-cancer, caregivers, and family members. Meeting one Thursday a month at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Manorville, NY, the group offers a space to connect through Faith, Hope, and Love, focusing not on what has been lost, but on the many blessings gained along the way.
With open arms and an open heart, Jennifer continues to walk alongside others, reminding them they are never alone.
